Amy tells us: "Mexico is an original design inspired by antique samplers from Mexico between 1780 and 1880. The sampler includes many distinctive characteristics of a Mexican sampler including, a carnation band, pomegranate band, band in Aztek stitch, spot motifs of birds and animals of Mexico."

The finished size is approximately 9 3/4" x 7 1/2". Stitches used are cross stitch, double running, satin, couching, four sided, whipped foundation, Dove's eye, buttonhole and Aztek stitch.

The kit includes 36 count Mocha Edinburgh linen, needle, Amy's hand dyed silk thread, chart and detailed instructions.
