Brenda tells us "An antique sampler from my personal collection that I have faithfully
reproduced and charted for your stitching pleasure. I purchased the
antique from a dealer who reportedly bought it from an estate in
Connecticut. The sampler has an early sticker on it's backside that
states the sampler is from Long Island, New York. This sampler is a
prime example of early 19th century schoolgirl embroidery. "
