Every two weeks or so I write to tell you about all of
the amazing new designs that we have to tempt you with.
But...I think that there are also some really fabulous
designs from "days gone by" that deserve another look.
And...I think that by starting Stitch A Longs (SAL) for
them, I'll help myself to work away at them, too.
Why do it this way? Discussion, inspiration, moral
support, goal setting are wonderful advantages of an SAL.
As an added incentive, we will offer the SAL project
supplies at 15% off for the month that the project is

I also wanted to present these not-so-new designs so
that, if it is your choice, you could order the charts,
kit them and stash them knowing that everything is there
for "someday". I'll introduce a new project every 6 weeks
or so.
Details about this design:
Random Thoughts incorporates a wonderful variety of sampler
stitches including cross stitch, spider webs, leaf, ray, Algerian eye,
Queen, double four sided, satin, french knots and many more. The stitch
instruction diagrams are excellent.
The verse reads "What is this life if full of care. We
have no time to stand & Stare." The chart includes an
alphabet for personalization.
It calls for 32 count Summer Khaki Belfast linen and Needlepoint Inc
Silk thread. I often change the linen count on my projects but I'm not
going to this time - the embellishments will fit nicely on the 32 count and
Needlepoint Inc silk thread gives great coverage.
The stitch count is 108 x 204. The design size on 32 count is approx. 6.75" x 12.75" long.
Our linen cut size of 14" x 20" will allow for finishing as a bell pull or as a framed piece.
