And They Sinned calls for 35 count hand dyed linen and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. My preference is to kit this design with Lambswool linen to allow the hand dyed threads to show to their best advantage. The instructions say to use cross stitch over 2 (it is primarily cross stitch with some backstitch). My personal preference is for more coverage so I could either use two strands on 35 count or one strand on 40 count.
