Joanne tells us "The third in a series (after "Mary
Barton's Work" & "Among the Roses"), this addition to the flock
represents a visitor local to my area, with some unusual colouring from
the original Victorian stitcher. Adapted from an antique original in my
collection."
Stitch count is 144w x 140h and uses only
full crosses over 2.
Model stitched on 32 count Flax Belfast linen from
Zweigart and stitched using 2 strands of Weeks, Gentle Arts &
Classic Colorworks. DMC conversion included. Due to the number of
colours included (it's less than the original antique!), it is fine to
mix-and-match overdyes and DMC.
