Wool thread and 2 colours of DMC Cotton floss on 32 count Cappuccino linen from Weeks Dye Works.
Welsh
samplers from the mid to late 19th century were nearly all stitched with
wool. Gentle Arts cotton overdyed threads could also be used, and
there is a DMC conversion provided.
