A 43 section Multi-stitch counted thread sampler presented in a two part series, this sampler is comprised of solidly worked motifs patterned after those found in Scottish-English sampler works of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The first and second sections of the sampler are approximately 8" square when worked on 40 count linen from Zweigart. They are stitched in Needlepoint silks, Kreinik Braid and DMC Metallic threads.
This chart contains Part One of Two. This design can be worked seperately or as one part of the complete Celtic Sampler.
