Paulette tells us: "George Washington had two horses he used in battle: Blueskin and Nelson.
This design features the more skittish of the two, named Blueskin. The
tree they are standing under is a bit of a twist on George's legendary
(if fictitious) cherry tree. (George is not in uniform, as this design
shows him enjoying retirement with his loyal friend.)"
Stitch count is 123 W x 121 H. Cross stitch over 2 threads and some long-stitches and back-stitches.
The model was stitched on a new color of 36 count hand dyed linen from R & R Reproductions called Nantucket Brew using a combination of hand dyed cotton floss and DMC floss. Paulette tells us: "Note: I've chosen to use DMC on areas with fewer than 100 stitches, but a conversion to all DMC is provided." Please check the boxes above to have these items added to your order.
