Bertie is the first in a new series of small, original samplers inspired by the Vierlande tradition. This piece is the most traditional, and has been designed to include all the special magic of a full-size sampler: crowns; distinctive alphabet; circular medallions; cup medallions; trees of life ; a little running border; and occasional, loveable ditsies.

With a stitch count of 111 x 105, this is one you will finish!

Stitches include cross stitch and back stitch/running stitch, and this chart can be stitched on any fabric (aida or evenweave/linen)

Bertie can be stitched in two colors (shown here in DMC 844 and 3857) or in the more traditional monochrome (shown here in Vintage Newsprint, our exclusive colorway from Dinky Dyes).

On 32 count, it finishes to about 7 inches x 6.5 inches.
