Thea tells us "Bring Bees Back to Life with this lovely project for your sewing and stitching table! This project features a Victorian style pincushion replica, a copy of an antique spindle pincushion dated circa the mid to late 1800’s. Pincushion is stitched with silks and overdyes to create the bees, beehives and the white Echinacea flowers. Several matching “Bee” smalls can hang from the top: a Beehive pinkeep and a beautiful scissors fob with a large “Bee” on it! "
Stitch counts are: Main Pincushion 59 W x 59 H , Pinkeep Front 36 W x 34 H, and Scissor Fob 20 W x 22 H.
All designs were stitched on 28 count hand dyed linen. We aren't able to order the specific linen so will be providing a close substitution.
An accessory pack is available which includes the hand dyed and solid silk thread plus the embellishments for the design. Please check the boxes above to add these items to your order.
You could finish this pattern nicely with the Pincushion Tray which is available and shown in the Related items below.
The Wooden 6" Spindle pincushion may be available to order from Victoria Sampler directly.
