Amy tells us that this: "is a sampling of Egyptian embroidery design examples from the Tulunid period (A.D. 868-905), Ayyubid period (A.D. 1172-1249) and the Mamluk period (A.D. 1250- 1517)."

The finished size is approximately  6 3/4” x 7 1/4 ”. Stitches used are Cross Stitch, Satin, Double Running, Backstitch, Double Backstitch and Pattern Darning.

The kit includes 32 count Copper Penny hand-dyed Linen,Needle, Fibers to Dye For’ hand-dyed silk threads, Detailed Instructions, Color Photograph, Notes regarding Egyptian Embroideries and the Egypt Passport Stamp Sticker.
