Amy Mitten introduces "The Forgeries". These are reproduction samplers stitched with Amy's hand dyed silk threads. The variation within the threads lends these samplers a truely antique look.

Forgery #2 - a motif sampler originally stitched in 1844. From the chart cover:
1844 motif sampler exhibits a whimsical flower basket with birds perched atop. Two dogs, a heart, a strawberry, three crowns and a fruit bowl add to the fanciful delight of this sampler.

The finished size of this sampler is: 5 1/2" by 6 1/2".
