From the cover: Harriet wrought this lovely sampler at age 8. Both the upper and lower case alphabet are neatly arranged across the top of the sampler. There is a unique scroll band dividing the alphabet sections from the motif section. Harriet's sampler boasts a wonderful array of motifs which include flower pots, windmills, crowns, birds, lions, trees, and hearts.

Stitches used include cross over 2, cross over 1 and four sided.

The finished size 13" x 10 1/4".
