Brenda tells us: "The Light of Winter is a 2022 retreat piece now available as a general release. A sampler designed to celebrate one of the oldest festivals, the Winter Solstice, or the light of winter. Many holiday customs that we celebrate today date back to this early celebration. While the sampler hints at Christmas with its greens and red, it certainly can be kept out year-round or at least through the winter season."
Stitch count is 175 W x 175 H.
Model was stitched on 36 count Winter Brew hand dyed linen from R&R Reproductions and stitched with a combination of DMC floss and hand dyed cotton floss.
