Wendy tells us "Alice Harris 1835 has a completely different color palette and style. There is some over one stitching in one row of letters, the verse, and her personalization. The deer are over one also, but I found if I stitched the outline and the legs in full crosses then I could fill in the body with a tent stitch. This method went quite quickly. There are some fun vertical half cross stitches in the middle band of flowers. By switching between the border and the verse this was quite enjoyable to stitch."
The Sampler model was stitched on Beige linen from Weeks Dye Works. The small framed piece and the drum are stitched on Bramble from Picture This Plus.
The sampler is stitched with Sampler Threads from the Gentle Art. There is a full Needlepoint Inc. Silks conversion . The small framed piece was pulled together and stitched with the Silks. It is designed to go off the sides of the frame, but would make a sweet pillow too.
Please check the boxes above to add the chart, linen and threads to your order.
