Gloriana's hand dyed Tudor silk is a 12 strand 120/2 silk floss. Ann tells use that it is about one half the size of a strand of regular Gloriana silk floss.

The 12 strands can easily be separated. You could use 1 strand for cross stitch over one on 40 or 45 count linen and for fine petit point and for cross stitch over 2 if your preference is for less coverage.

You could use 2 strands for cross stitch over 2 on 36 or 40 count.

To stitch, use a short length of Tudor Silk and Thread Heaven thread conditioner (see the link below to order) to help prevent knotting on the back.
