We are excited to announce the release of this beautiful Exclusive
sampler from Hands Across the Sea Samplers.
Eliza Martha Linfoot 1834 will be Exclusively available from
Attic Needlework, Needle in a Haystack, Traditional Stitches, A Stitch in Time and Hands Across the Sea Samplers!
Those of you who enjoyed our Facebook SAL for the Jane Fiddes
sampler will not want to miss the continuation of our group as we
transition to a SAL for Eliza Martha Linfoot.
Cherie Cluff Edington did such a fantastic job leading our Facebook
group and SAL for Jane Fiddes, that we are thrilled she has agreed
to take the lead for our Eliza Martha Linfoot sampler!
Eliza's sampler will ONLY be available from the sponsoring shops and
Hands Across the Sea Samplers. The shops are each offering a
limited time 10% discount when you purchase all 3 components (chart,
fabric and threads) from one of our shops. All orders must be
placed by Saturday, July 31st 2021 for the discount to apply.
We are anticipating a SAL start date of October 1, 2021 although
that is entirely dependent on availability of supplies. All of our
fingers are crossed that we will be able to start shipping charts
and kits towards the end of August.
Advance orders are welcome and recommended.
Nicola has generously offered a drawing prize of an antique sampler
from her collection for all stitchers that complete the Eliza Martha
Linfoot sampler within 12 months of our SAL start date.
Ordering from Traditional Stitches:
Advance orders are welcome and recommended in order for the 10% discount to apply to purchases of all 3 of chart, thread and fabric. We will be sure to apply this discount to orders that have already been placed. The discount offer ends July 31, 2021.
Please note that the discount will NOT appear in your shopping basket. We will apply this manually when we process your order for shipping.
We will start to ship kits for this sampler towards the end of August 2021. While we do collect your payment information at the time you place your order, we don't charge you for your order until it is ready to ship out to you.
We will be shipping orders in the date order that they are received. It will take us several weeks to ship all orders, so please be patient with us.
You are welcome to order any other items from our web site with your SAL order. We will plan to hold everything to ship to you in one package but please let us know by email only if you would prefer separate shipments.
Please read through to the bottom of this page for shipping cost information.
We are offering four different counts of Legacy Linen from Access Commodites as well as three different thread choices. Here are our suggested combinations but you are always welcome to make it your own.
30 count Legacy Linen: Soie d'Alger silk thread or DMC floss.
38 count Legacy Linen: Soie d'Alger silk thread or DMC floss. You *could* use Soie 100/3 but expect the coverage to be on the sparse side.
45 count Legacy Linen: Soie 100/3 or Soie d'Alger or DMC floss.
53/63 count Legacy Linen: Soie 100/3 or DMC floss.
Please email us if you would like a suggestion for stitching on Aida fabric.
The design is worked mostly in cross stitch with the basket section worked in satin stitch. There will be a cross stitch version of the basket provided in the chart for those working on Aida and/or those that prefer not to do the satin stitch.
Ray of Needle in a Haystack will be offering one of her beautiful laser
engraved needlework accessories to coordinate with the Eliza Martha
Linfoot sampler. We don't know for sure what it will be but we are
pretty sure that you will want it. Please check the box above to have
it added to your order if you are willing to be surprised!
Stitch count is 249 W x 246 H.
We will be hosting our Stitch A Long on Facebook as a continuation of our Jane Fiddes SAL. Here is the link to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/521679788738166
