Jan tells us "The motifs I'ved used in Gardens of Saxony are drawn from the large German antique sampler I reproduced, CRS 1713. There are so many wonderful motifs on CRS 1713 that they deserve their own (much smaller!) sampler! This also gives the stitcher a chance to stitch these wonderful designs if they feel like the complete CRS 1713 is too large to take on. The colors for Gardens of Saxony are the faded colors found on the front of CRS 1713."

Model was stitched on 40 count hand dyed linen which is not available to us - we will send a nice instock choice in its place. Design was stitched with hand dyed cotton floss from The Gentle Art, Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works. DMC conversion is included in the chart.
