Kathy tells us "This is H.L.'s Moth. This is a reproduction of an antique sampler.  The original sampler was worked in brightly colored yarns, but my reproduction is done in silk threads. The model was stitched and pieced in the exact same places on both the right and left sides.  One model was stitched over one of 40-count linen and finished into a wonderful flat pin cushion.  I, in turn, turned it into a necklace.

The stitch count is 133 W x 74 H.

The model was stitched on 40 count Havanna from Weeks Dye Works using Needlepoint Inc.silks.  A conversion to DMC is provided.
