Lori tells us "This is my interpretation of an original sampler found at the Racine Heritage Museum. I used one strand DMC over two linen threads for all but the name, date and age of dear Elizabeth which is over one thread."

Model was stitched on 36 count Parchment linen from Weeks Dye Works and stitched with DMC cotton floss.
