Stephanie tells us: "Some of my favorite and most used antiques are a few little drawers, with dividers, knobs , just perfect for storing my smalls. I made this drawer of RIFT sawn ( straight grained) WHITE OAK and stained with aged walnut for a soft warm beige/ brown. Porcelain knob is antique reproduction, and there is a raised panel on front of drawer, just like the antiques. Construction is top quality, I initially did not fix divider, thinking someone might prefer to remove it, but have since fixed it permanent. The drawer is antiqued and has a matte furniture grade top coat for protection. The drawer bottom is notched into the side panels. No butt jointed construction here…., but furniture quality joinery... This feels solid and heirloom quality. Each divided area is 4.7/8 wide by 3 7/8 high. Pattern shown and available separately is “Tis A Melody”.
