Jackelopian Tapestry from Lindy Stitches ~ Needlework Expo 2021!

    Needlework Expo 2021 release.

Stephanie tells us "The Jackalope is an American mythological creature first born in the imaginations of two hunting brothers gifted in taxidermy. It was first displayed at a local hotel in Douglas, Wyoming in the 1930's. Since then the Jackalope has adorned many bars across the United States. I personally think he's a better myth than the Easter Bunny.."

    Stitch count is 100 W x 100 H.

Model was stitched on 30 count Platinum hand dyed linen from Weeks Dye Works and stitched with threads from Dinky Dye, Weeks Dye Works and DMC Cotton floss.
