LK 1900: An antique reproduction pink house sampler

Joanna tells us "This lovely - quite late - antique English sampler is so pleasing with its symmetry and familiar motifs. I particularly loved recreating the look of pink bricks, making each look different through the use of softly variegated thread. The original stitcher's initials are the same as two of my beloved aunts, so I kept them - but it would be very simple to add your own initials and a significant date to yours."

Stitch count is 171 x 123 h

Model was stitched on a 36 count hand dyed linen which is not available to us - we suggest stitching on the 36 count Antique Ivory from Zweigart in its place. Design was stitched with hand dyed threads from Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works.
Threads required include:
Classic Colorworks ~192 Caterpillar & 228 Licorice Red.
Weeks Dye Works ~1 skein of 1333 Lancaster Red, 2254 Cinnabar, 1123 Cornsilk, 1094 Linen; 2 skeins of 2197 Oscar

Stitched 1 over 2 using full crosses only & framed in a standard 8x10-inch frame. Black and white chart with colour cover. DMC conversion provided.
