Northern Expressions Needlework tells us: "It's become a tradition. Every year I do some sort of unusual band sampler. This year I wanted something a little different, and my friend Esther gave me the most incredible idea.... so I introduce you to Esther's Waves."

The model was stitched on 36 count hand dyed Honey Amber linen from Fabrics by Stephanie using hand dyed silk floss from Dinky Dyes. The model was stitched in cross stitch and specialty stitches and embellished with Mill Hill beads.
