Nashville Market 2019 release. Reproduction Sampler.
Linda tells us "Agnes lived in Scotland just *snap* that far from the English border. She stitched her sampler while attending Hutton Public School in 1903. She was 24 when World War I broke out. Presumably because of the privations of war and the loss of so many young men, she didn't marry until she was 34. Her life was not Downton Abby glamorous, but it was absolutely lived in that era. I'm so thankful to own her sampler and bring it to you."
Stitch count is 130 W x 170 H.
Model was stitched on 36 count Weeks Dye Works Confederate Gray and stitched with threads from Belle Soie, Gloriana and Dinky Dyes. A DMC conversion is given.
