Victoria tells us "Don’t you just love that vine-covered house? We’ve adapted Ellen’s vibrant 1843 sampler to include a friendship verse that you may or may not decide to include in your sampler.

Deciding on floss colors for Ellen’s sampler (antique in the center) was a challenge. As you can see at the far left, the model on 36ct linen used muted colors much like the front of the antique. Because these were rather drab, we brightened it up a bit on 40ct linen."

Stitch count is 232 W x 138 H.

Model was stitched on 36 count Hogbristle hand dyed linen from Fox & Rabbit and stitched 1 strand over 2 threads with hand dyed floss from Classic Colorworks. DMC Conversion is also included in the chart.
