This design will be released at the Nashville Needlework Market in March 2017.
Needlework Press tells us: "Sometimes a sampler just speaks to your heart! This is the case with Lucy V. Moore. Her unique design, motifs and stitches just called to us. Then we learned about Lucy's family and teacher, and, well, we were hooked. We stitched two models, one in Gentle Arts cotton, the other in Gentle Arts wool with a few Needlepoint silks to replicate the antique. The chart includes extensive history about Lucy, her family and her teacher."
The stitch count is 345w x 110h.
The model was stitched on 30 count hand dyed Straw linen from Weeks Dye Works using Gentle Art Simply Wool floss and Needlepoint Inc. silk floss. A Gentle Art and DMC conversion is included. Please check the boxes above to add these items to your order.
The first option of stitching the sampler with wool and silk gives the sampler more depth and dimension. Stitching the sampler with hand dyed cotton floss gives the sampler a similar but more muted look.
