Mary Anne Eynon 1858 from Needlework Press

Vickie from Needlework Press tells us "Mary Anne Eynon was 10 years old when she stitched her wool on canvas sampler in 1858. She used cross stitch over two threads of 24 ct canvas throughout. The antique measures 13” wide x 13.5” high with a stitch count of 159 W x 173 H. While some colors are the same front and back, others are brighter, so we opted for a blend."

Model was stitched on 40 count Doubloon hand dyed linen from Picture This Plus and stitched with silk threads from Soie d'Alger, Needlepoint Inc. and Classic Colorworks Belle Soie.
