Needlework Press tell us "Phebe's mid-19th century woolwork sampler combines a variety of motifs in an unusual composition for perforated paper. We did our best to capture the directional stitching that creates texture in the composition. Certainly every stitch can be crossed, especially if recreated on linen.
Stitch count is 218 W xc 149 H.
We suggest stitching on either 18 count White Perforated paper from Mill Hill or 36 count Light Mocha Edinburgh linen from Zweigart. Design is stitched with either DMC Cotton floss on Paper or 100/3 on linen.
