Robin tells us "Rachel's beautiful sampler was wrought in 1838.  She was born in Manhatten, NY on 4/11/24.  The sampler verse is the Ten Commandments.  The hues of blue, tan,  and green make this sampler very special."

Stitch count is 240 W x 240 H

Model was stitched on 32 count Sand Dunes hand dyed linen from Seraphim Fabrics and stitched with Soie 100/3 silks. DMC Conversion included in the chart.

OR DMC ~ 370, 823, 434, Ecru, 502

Stitched with Cross stitch over 2 linen threads with the 10 Commandments stitched over 1 linen thread in cross stitch.  Algerian Eyelet, Four-sided stitch, Half cross stitch over 2 linen threads.
