Little Red Schoolhouse Pinkeep 1862
Pansy Patch Quilts tell us "This design came about as I wanted to design a small red sampler. The little red schoolhouse reminds me of a nineteenth century schoolhouse. I can hear the bell ringing and the children running in to begin their day of learning in this sweet schoolhouse. How much fun it would be to be in this classroom!"
Stitch Count is 111 x 119.
Model is stitched one strand over two linen threads on a 36 count hand dyed linen which is not available to us - we will choose a nice in-stock alternate choice in its place. Design was stitched with a hand dyed red floss.
Trimmed in Brick chenille by Lady Dot Creates.
