Paulette tells us "I have NO idea where this name came from, but I do know that the title "Goody" was commonly used in Puritan society up until the late 1600's as a variant of "Goodwife," which was a term used for middle class women. "Mistress" was reserved for women of higher social status. I suppose "Grimwood" just sounded fun and autumnal, so I went with it. :) I had so much fun designing this one! "

Model was stitched on 36 count Stars Hollow Blend hand dyed linen from R & R Reproductions using hand dyed threads from Weeks Dye Works and DMC Cotton floss.
