Queenstown Sampler Designs tells us "The Caroline Mason 1803 Sampler is a delight with her bright, stylized frlowers and vivid borders. Teal greens, red cinnamon and shell pinks work well together. There are a variety of stitches to keep you enteretained. Caroline tells us she was in her 11th year when she made her sampler in 1803. This style of sampler is typical of samplers taught along the Connecticut River from this time period."

Model was stitched on 36 count Vintage Examplar from Lakeside Linens and stitched with Needlepoint Inc. Silks.
