Queenstown Sampler Designs tells us "The Hannah Gurney 1769 band sampler was created in Norwich, Norfolk England. Colours for the model were chosen from the front and when we were able to peek in behind some holes in the linen, used what brighter colours we could see."
Model was stitched on 36 count Vintage Bisque hand dyed linen from Laeside Linens and stitched with silks from Needlepoint Inc..
