Calls for 28 count Sand hand dyed linen from Picture This Plus and stitched with Valdani 3 strand hand overdyed floss. Cross stitch, back stitch and cross over one.

Because of the 3 strand Valdani floss, stitching this design on higher count fabrics won't work out as well. You could stitch it on 40 count linen with one strand with good results. You could also stitch it on 32 or 36 count linen with 2 strands of the Valdani floss and expect some wastage. Please let us know if you have any questions.
