Beth tells us: "Of course there is a Fragments in Time series for 2022! This year's series was inspired by antique Susquehanna Valley Samplers. As I studied the originals with their compartmentalized borders, I knew they would make a perfect Fragments series. This body of antique samplers was created from the late 1700's through the 1840's, being produced from several schools located along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy my updated version of this piece of sampler history.

The stitch count for each Individual Fragments are approximately 51 x 51. When all 8 Fragments are stitched together with the border pattern, stitched with border pattern will be 245 W x 125 H .

You can choose to stitch each design individually or on one piece of fabric. Each 18" x 27" piece of fabric is enough to stitch the sampler or to stitch all 8 pincushions with 2" finishing allowance.

The models are stitched on 32 ct. Straw hand dyed linen from Weeks Dye Works and stitched with hand dyed cotton floss from Weeks Dye Works. If you choose to finish each Fragment individually, you may need the hand dyed Rayon Ribbon trim from Lady Dot Creates for the finish. We have listed the threads for either the Individually finished Fragments or the 8 designs stitched together with the Free Border offered on the Summer House Stitche Workes website.

Weeks Dye Works - 2 skeins of 1110, 1284, 2239A, 2208, 2254, ; 3 skeins of 1269; 4 skeins of 2201
