Shakespeare's Peddler tells us "Lisabetta's sampler was stitched on a fine gauze in a heavy thread, so this model has been stitched on hand dyed linen and stitched with two strands of hand dyed cotton floss to achieve that bunchy/full look (kind of like Needlepoint.) The sampler was unfinished, and I always love that. We ALL have lots of projects to get finished, right?"
